\nSticks And Bamboo Products) our respected trainer Prakash D\u2019Souza sir
\nintroduced him-self, and he started to explain us about Bamboo products
\nand marketing places. And he thought us how Bamboo is important in our
\ndaily life. From \u2018Cradle to Grave\u2019. Now a days Bamboo products are used
\nmore in number because Bamboos are fast growing and low cost material
\nthat is Strong, Durable, Eco-friendly and Attractive.
\nIt consists of 4 methods used traditionally to treat Bamboo are:
\n1. Water-leaching.
\n2. Chemical Treatment [Borax & Boric acid (10 liter of water + 9 gram
\nBoric acid)].
\n3. Smoking & Heating.
\n4. Salt water \/ Sea water immersion.
\n5. Fermentation.
\nThe best treatment is Borax & Boric acid is the most popular bamboo
\npreservative method around the world because it is effective & most
\nenvironmentally friendly than other wood preservation.
\nUses
\n\u2022 Bamboo can be used for almost all parts of houses, including Posts, Roofs, Walls, Floors, Beams and Fences.
\n\u2022 People also use bamboo to produce Mats, Baskets, Tools, Handles, Hats, Traditional toys, Musical instruments
\nand Furniture.
\n\u2022 In the food sector Bamboo shoots are becoming more popular.

\nThe unit is aimed to produce different bamboo articles and handicrafts like decorative items by using
\nbamboo and its materials. With regard to manufacturing process, these materials are cut to the required size and length.
\nDesign and carvings are made and these parts are then joined together with the help of glue and nails etc. as deemed fit
\nfor the end products. There products are subsequently polished by Varnish.
